If you want to buy alcohol (except in bars/restaurants), you need to go to Systembolaget, the government-owned liquor store. This is the closest one to the apartment, but there's usually one by each subway stop. Note that it closes at 7pm on weekdays, 3pm on Saturdays, and is closed on Sundays, so stock up.

Old classic Swedish bistro (think wood panels, paintings, thick-skinned women working the bar). They have special prices for wine and food if you sit at the bar, including Stockholm's cheapest oysters (12 SEK each). Book a dinner table or sit at the bar, they specialize in Swedish and French cuisine, especially seafood. Also worth going just for drinks. The last Monday of the month they do live jazz music from 5.30pm, they also do live opera(!) for 10–15 minutes starting at 8.30pm each Saturday.
