Parks & Nature

*note erroneous pin on Airbnb maps - see directions below* Walk along the lovely river on the Kelvin Walkway, which connects the Botanical Gardens to Kelvinbridge and all the way to Kelvingrove Park. Enter from the north side either via the Botanics itself or entrances along Kelvin Way, head down the southeast path that leads you by ruins of an old paper mill (converted into ammunication production for a while!) and then a lovely pub called Inn-deep along the way. Continue onwards until you enter Kelvingrove Park with Kelvingrove Museum right on the other end.

I love this place... a mecca from train lovers! Features numerous real and replicas of trains and buses that have plied the railroads and streets of Glasgow since the Victorian times. Check out the replica Victorian era street for an immersive experience as an inhabitant of Victorian Glasgow, and also explore the ship right out on the River Clyde!
