Gorgeous little pub on the river for a drink, a meal, Sunday lunch, if you're lucky you can nab the bay window table over the Thames. There's several pubs along this stretch on the north bank including The Prospect of Whitby. a lovely walk one evening, a small drink at each. Then there are the lovely pubs on Greenwich waterfront, the Cutty Sark being the prettiest of all, another with upstairs windows over the river. And further upstream, there's the lovely Mayflower Pub too.( near Bermondsey)

Parks & Nature

We have several beautiful green spaces within short walking distance, with fantastic views. Don't miss a 5 minute evening stroll up to Telegraph Hill Park to see the fabulous view across London. Especially silly lovely for summer sunsets with a picnic. Or wander around Nunhead Cemetery admiring the elaborate headstones, then pop into the Waverley Arms for a pint. If you want to really stretch your legs a good hours circular walk encompassing one tree hill will take you to Queen Elizabeth s oak tree ( or a younger one on the same sight!) and more beautiful views across the city

Getting around

Public transport is easist

Brockley Station (8 minutes walk, longer if with kids etc) for connections via the Overground and South Eastern Rail. Nunhead is also closeby for other routes including Victoria and Blackfriars. If driving please note that we are in the ULEZ (ultra low emission zone) - efficient cars are exempt. The Inner London Congestion Zone covers the very centre and all vehicles are charged to enter.
