Hotel Quito was the Quito's first top class hotel. Slightly dated now it still enjoys a fantastic setting with great views. Good pool club and rooftop restaurant (great buffet breakfasts!)

The old city –with its wealth of historic buildings and churches, the old town offers much to see. Visit Plaza Independencia, Plaza San Francisco and La Ronda. La Compañía is a beautiful colonial church. San Francisco and Santo Domingo are also very interesting churches and cloisters.

La Casa del Alabado is an outstanding museum of pre-Columbian Art. The house has been beautifully restored and is one of our favourites. Good place to grab a coffee too.
