Food Scene

It's the closest coffee shop that serves espresso drinks and is consistently open (very few to no restaurants serve espresso drinks in Baltimore). It's also open before restaurants open for brunch on the weekends.

Great food. Great drinks. Great service. Down to earth atmosphere, but also sweet and charming. Best to make a reservation for brunch (I don't think they take them for dinner). It's also walking distance and in the "Square" next to other eateries and bars.

Nice for dinner and drinks, but on the pricier side. However, best brunch place ever and more affordable during that time. They have bottomless mimosa, sangria and bloody marys on the weekend. Food is also delicious and it's within walking distance.

Parks & Nature

3 blocks away. The main park has a 3-mile loop with hills if you want a nice walk or ambitious jog. There are also fun things to see like the Pagoda, a dog park, a pond with ducks and lotus blossoms and many many trees. Best to explore the park during the day.

Very lovely and tranquil place to walk to and be near the water. There is a grassy area for picnics or benches right at the edge of the water.

Great for the impromptu manie and pedie. I do recommend making an appointment though. It's within walking distance and is close to two other brunch places, Myth & Moonshine (weekend bottomless mimosa and bloody mary) and Langermann's (a bit pricier, but nicer).

Getting Around

I highly recommend taking Uber or Lyft if you need to travel longer than a mile and at night. I usually compare rates with both Uber and Lyft before ordering either one.

Shopping

There is a Target shopping center on Boston street - just over a mile away. Fells Point and Harbor East also have boutique shops, but that's about as good as it gets for shopping in Baltimore. If you need a full on mall, go to Towson.

Just over 15 miles or a 30-min. drive. It's large and beautiful and has a movie theater. Weekend parking is challenging, so get there early!
