An excellent place to go out with some friends and have a burger and a drink. If the weather is nice the outdoor service is recommended- the sun stays there for a long time and they even have blankets if it gets chilly. If you like board games you can borrow this here. A lovely atmosphere!

For those who like musicals/cabarets. At Wallmans you can see a great show and dine at the same time. The artists both serve the food and are professional entertainers. You should book a table in advance.

This is maybe the best area to go out for a drink, some food and to watch the night life. It is also a vibrant place during daytime, with different happenings and events all the time. Many good restaurants like "The Nighthawk diner" (burgers), "Villa Paradiso" (Italian pizza), "Delicatessen" (Tapas) etc. The Sunday market at Blå or at "Birkelunden" is worth a look if you like second hand things.

A very nice little lake which is perfect for a quiet walk (about 3 km long) in the forest. You can have a small bonfire (at designated places), og for a swim in the lake or just go for a walk. Take the bus number 34 from Aleksander K. plass and at Tåsen you can change to the metro and take this up to Sognsvann. You can also go for longer walks here - or go skiing in the Winter!
