A great place to visit. a bit away from the city but with really interesting and remarkable information about the Ecuadorian identity and the true Sprit drink from Ecuador, the Miske, which is made out of Agave, same as in Tequila Mexico, only here is another technique and more ancestral .

The Museum is a few minutes away waking from Maywa Suites. In front of the El Ejido park. It has a gorgeous collection of history of Ecuador, and a small gold collection. It's worth the visit. They normally run free art workshops on weekends.

Traveler advice

What to pack

clothing for all kinds of weather.

Quito can be warm yet rainy and cold by hours. We are in the middle of the mountains so be ready. A raincoat is important when you travel around Mindo and Cotopaxi. also for night life in Quito get shirt ;) or a casual blouse. always bring your coat or sweater.
What to pack

Bring a photocopy of you passport

When you leave home, only take with you your photocopy, its safer this way. Also bring your vaccination certificate you will be requested on every store, restaurant or market.
Useful phrases

Siga No más

Go ahead. Just enter, or serve yourself. "no más" is not really a "no more" translation. Is a kind way to tell you to "go on"
