Special Porto place for "Francesinha Especial" – typical Porto food, created in the city in the 20th centurt (kind of a sandwish with lots of cheese, lots of meat, fries and everything bad for colesterol - but marvelous taste!). Very emblematic café in Porto, very frequented by university students. (in football day - it's only football on tvs and very animated — specially if its Porto team playing, of course)

Amazing bookstore – now more a museum (fee to entrance), but maybe worth a visit. "A Art Nouveau space dominated by a curving staircase with ornate wooden carvings to match its intricate wall panels and columns" (J. K. Rowling, more than 20 years ago was an English teacher at Porto and looks like she got the inspiration on this bookstore for creating Harry Potter!)

Huge gardens where you can see the river from up – a place full of peacocks and ducks (and seagulls) all around. There's an art gallery in the garden (together with a library).
