Parks & Nature

Walk through an actual swamp, along a bayou, and to a marsh on a short hike. We have seen several alligators, beautiful flora, and rare fauna in one of the most biodiverse national parks in the country. A bit of a drive so get some breakfast before hand and stop by a daiquiri shop or Sonic drive through on the way back to the city.

Go around the side to the sculpture garden - it's free. A really pleasant place for a stroll if it's a beautiful day. Grab a coffee and beignets at Morning Call Cafe. Afterwards go around back, cross the small bridge on a secluded oasis within City Park where the Spanish moss is something special.
