Food Scene

This restaurant has been in business since 1935 - and it's the best Italian experience the city has to offer. Also, the wood-fired stove makes amazing pizza.

Amazing Mexican food in the very eclectic and always exciting Mission District. While simple, the cheese enchiladas are the best I've had (this from an Arizona boy, who knows his Mexican food!)

The underground nightclub of Sushi... out of the way with great music, the staff greets each new visitor with a welcoming shout in Japanese. Oh, and the sushi just rocks.

This place is awesome. The tacos are delicious and filling. Get your tacos "Nick's Way", which has the soft shell wrapped around the hard shell with melted cheese in between. Delish!

Drinks & Nightlife

Glass of wine with a view - while a little pricey, one cocktail won't kill you while you drink in the view of the city perched on the top of the world. Think "swank", but skip the expensive dinner.

Clandestine & classy, the original speakeasy delivers as advertised (or not). Ring the buzzer and speak the password ("Books") to get into the secret library. Plus - lots of unique cocktail options!

In SF they say it's always sunny in the Mission, which makes this rooftop bar the perfect spot to take in some views and some rays. If there's sun, they will come!
