Traveler advice

Getting around

CitiBike, Bus, Subway, or NYC Ferry

Red Hook is a unique neighborhood traditionally somewhat separated from Brooklyn and Manhattan by transit, but now there is a Water Ferry with a direct link to Wall Street and other NYC Ferry terminals. Governor's Island is a short ferry away, and it is well connected by the B61 and B57 bus, which connect to downtown Brooklyn and the F and G trains, as well as the A,C,F,N,R,W in downtown Brooklyn. The best way to get around is really CitiBike (or your own bicycle), car, or scooter.
