Neighbourhoods

We have lived all across London, before choosing to settle in wonderful Highbury. With a high street full of delis, independent shops and restaurants, beautiful green spaces and quick access to central London - we think it’s the best place in London!

Just a 10 minute walk away across Clissold Park, Stoke Newington is a local gem! Church street (the main high street) is filled with independent shops, loads of restaurants and restaurants. Make sure you go to Spence bakery - the best bread around! Now I know this sounds weird, but there is the most fascination cemetery in Stoke Newington called Abney Park. It looks like a film set and really is lovely for a morning walk.

You can get to the Heath quickly via the overground from Highbury and Islington, but we love walking via the Parkland Walk. This nature reserve is an old railway line from Finsbury Park to Highgate that was never finished. The Heath is unbelievable peaceful, you won’t quite believe you are in London.
