Head out the driveway and turn left towards Sisterdale and take a tour of the Sistercreek Vineyards. Step back in time and do some wonderful wine tasting while you are there.

If you are not a Boerne resident, there will be a small fee upon entrance but this is a great place to picnic, sand volleyball courts, swim, kayak and fish. No motor sports allowed on this lake.

One of the most beautiful hikes that you can take just outside Fredericksburg. Get to the top and see for miles in every direction. Spectacular when Fall colors are out. To enter the park, you will have to MAKE RESERVATIONS online  through Texas Parks and wildlife Enchanted Rock.
Head to 290 wine tours online to reserve your spot on one of their shuttles. Their shuttles will take you to all of the best wineries in Fredericksburg where you can stop off in enjoy the beautiful scenery that makes up the hill country vineyards and wineries.

Just ask Siri to play Waylon Jennings’ “ Luckenbach Texas” on Spotify! This is a great must see for tourists to this part of the Hill country. It is on the road towards Fredericksburg from The Red Barn Inn and has a great little gift shop and bar in the old Lukenbach post office.

Boerne is home to two great cave scenes. Cascade Caverns is another great spot to descend and to the beautiful limestone caverns in the Hill Country. Set an a beautiful year-round temperature, this is a must see when traveling to our part of Texas.

Fredericksburg is a neat German town with fun shopping on the Main Street running right thru town as well as lots of vineyards and wineries surrounding downtown Fredericksburg.
