The beach is 20 minute walk away and is actually 8 miles long from Hengistbury Head to Sandbanks. Probably best to avoid right near pier as that's the busiest place. Harry Ramsden is great for fish and chips!

Stunning harbour with pubs and restaurants- second biggest natural harbour in the world. Take boat trips to Brownsea Island and on a boat tour, if you are very, very lucky you may see dolphins!!
