Getting around
Getting to Nosara
I recommend flying into the Liberia airport (LIR). It is 2 1/2 hours away. San José (SJO) is more like 5 hours. It is tricky to get here by bus. Most people either rent a car (there is a National and Economy here in town) and drive (use Waze for maps!) OR take a shuttle (CR Terra Tours is our recommendation). We highly recommend having some form of transportation while in Nosara - car, quad, golf cart, bike or use the Tuk Tuk motorcycle taxi’s to get around.
