Very chic restaurant on the beach and seriously cool. Anjuna offers one of the most beautiful settings on the French Riviera with its Bali inspired decoration. Immerse yourself in the turquoise ambience. On the weekdays go for a romantic sunny lunch or a moonlit dinner. If you are looking for a party, Anjuna is literally a night club on the beach every weekend (afternoon) with live music and DJ’s and of course people dancing on tables! $$$ *Our favorite : SeaSalt crusted Sea-bass for two & Champagne piscine. That's splashing out! If you want to beat the Anjuna trap and get serious value for money then order the amazing poulet roti (roast chicken) for two which comes on a massive plate a whole chicken with lots of roast veg enough for at least two or three people with a bottle of St Marguerite in white or Rosé. Or Red Ronan Bordeaux. Cocktails and shots are très très chers!!

One of our favorite restaurant in Monaco. Real French food. If you are a "foodie" certainly the place to go. It's very small so you better call John to make a reservation. Make it a day out. Visit Monaco old town : the Oceanographic museum, the Cathedral of Monaco, the prince Palace and the gardens with their beautiful panoramic views over the med. $ It's hard to recommend something as the menu changes weekly !

Great Outdoors

One of the highlights of your trip will surely be a hike to the village on a beautiful sunny day. If It’s high season start as early as possible so not to overheat! It starts just across the road from the train station. Take the slip road up to a big beautiful yellow mansion. It will take you just under one hour to get to Eze village. Exactly two thirds the way up is a little waterfall. It gets hot and by the time you get here you’ll really appreciate how cool it is. The waterfall is tucked away so you have to listen out for it. Only locals know about it. You will take a corner around a small timber villa that sits above a stone wall. The villa entrance is on your left. Opposite it turn to the right and in just a few steps you will go through some trees and then you'll arrive at the waterfall. (The timber villa is the only building on the trail) There are a few hikes departing from Eze, if you want to do more, we will give you directions.

The best flat walk Ever is around the perimeter of Cap Ferrat ! Start in Beaulieu on the seafront (near Hotel Royal Riviera) The walk starts at the side of this hotel. Hug the coast all the way going through to the village of Saint Jean. Pass the Port and then pass the beautiful hotel La Voile d’Or. Continue and eventually turn left and down to Paloma beach. You will be back on the water edge and you will walk a loop around. After this loop you can turn back to the village. Or you can keep hugging the water all the way to Villefranche. It will take you an extra 2 hours, but so worth it. Bring your swimming trunks as you will be able to swim at many different sections all the way around which is great for cooling down. Also you can picnic and enjoy beautiful sunsets on Cap Ferrat. Or go to Le Cadillac for an amazing pizza and a view over the port !

From Monaco, walk along the coastal path along the rocks at sea level. It is stunning! Leaving behind the port of Cap d’Ail and Monaco, the vegetation suddenly turns wild as one follows a succession of Rocky coves and bays, while passing underneath sumptuous Belle Epoque villas. the Massif de l'Esterel is a Mediterranean coastal mountain range in Provence. The soil and rocks of the range are of volcanic origin, composed mainly of porphyry, which gives the hills a red color. The terrain is rugged, with deep ravines and oak forests. City/town information

Beaulieu is our local town. You will find everything you need here. It is a beautiful little town with shops, boulangeries, cafés, a vibrant square and supermarket. On the main square there is a local open air market in the morning and plenty of café Terrasses to chill or have an Apero ! Beaulieu port is really pretty too. The best restaurant is the African Queen. It always has a great atmosphere and the food is excellent. It can be expensive but if you are careful it can be very good value. One of the best restaurants for fish. They also do the best pizzas. And if you have a sweet tooth then make sure to ask for the dessert menu, it will blow you away! The African Queen also has a new and very pretty beach bar a few meters away. It is called Batik. It opened in the summer of 2020. There are plenty of restaurants around the port. L’Atelier d’Émile is another great place, French bistrot style. If you go make sure you try the Tiramisu.

The bay of Villefranche, reputed as one of the five most beautiful bays in the world is embraced by the Cap de Nice on the right and Cap Ferrat on the left. The charming old town cascades down the hills to the sea and the kilometer-long beach offers great recreation throughout the year. Here you will experience the delightful and unique way of old town living as neighbors hang out their windows to greet each other chatting or watching the world go by. Villefranche is filled with charm and authenticity. It is an old fisherman village with an impressive citadelle. Food seen around

The best restaurant in the port. It always has a great atmosphere and the food is excellent. It can be expensive but if you are careful it can be very good value. One of the best restaurants for fish. They also do the best pizzas. And if you have a sweet tooth then make sure to ask for the dessert menu, it will blow you away! Best part : it serves all day. $$ * Our favorite : the classic oven-cooked lasagna!

Cap Ferrat is a must. They say this is the most expensive land on earth. Admire or ignore all the fantastic mansions but nobody can help but be blown away by the natural beauty and landscape of Cap Ferrat. It’s so naturally beautiful. One mansion you absolutely must visit is the Rothschild villa. Especially the gardens. So beautiful and with views to kill.
