Here you'll meet gorgeous baby elephant calves, sadly orphanned by poaching. A great opportunity to be close to these magnificent animals as they enjoy playing in the mud bath and having their mid-morning snack (milk). To enjoy the best view, and even touch the elephants, get there as early as you can - the Orphanage is open for one hour only each day (11am to 12noon).

The Nairobi National Park is only 30 minutes away - though now nearly surrounded by urban development, there's still enough wildlife to give you the safari experience. During a recent trip, we were graced by the company of two lions during their evening stroll. It's an experience not to be missed.
