One of our hidden gems is a food truck! Alex’s taco truck is a a fabulous place to pick up Mexican whether you are staying in, returning from a hike or about to leave town. Portions are generous and delicious. We highly recommend!

This newly reconstructed historical site is centered around a former railroad tunnel under the Afton mountain. This tunnel spans nearly one mile and is refreshingly cool especially on hotter days. Be sure to bring flashlights. For a shorter walk choose the East trailhead entrance in Afton.
