The home of Doc Martin but a Cornish gem in its own right. Park at the top of the town and walk down the coast path to the harbour. Enjoy the steep narrow streets with their quirky shops and huge variety of eateries.

A pretty town on the river Camel with abundant shops and eateries, but most famous as the home of the Camel Trail cycle route. Following the old railway line, the Camel trail runs from Padstow to Wenfordbridge. 18 miles of beautiful and varied scenery. There are several bike hire locations in Wadebridge, as well as Padstow and Wenfordbridge. This is a great way to visit the lovely fishing village of Padstow, made famous by TV chef Rick Stein.

Another beautiful, family and dog friendly beach. Daymer Bay is situated on the Camel estuary so doesn’t generally get surf but is a popular destination for wind surfers, kayakers and paddle boarders. A lovely safe spot to take the children with a gentle walk to Rock with its bars, shops, restaurants and ferry to Padstow.
