Parks & Nature

Large open space park that is great for a friend / family gathering. Play catch or set up your volleyball net! For you out-of-staters: it is legal to bring beer to a park in Colorado but it has to be 3.2 beer! Colorado grocery stores sell only 3.2 beer, so it is safe to make your purchase at a grocery store ;-)

Really cute and relaxing botanic park. Great place to visit anytime of the year. Spring: I recommend relaxing among the blooming lilacs! Summer: The entire place is blooming and magical ;-) Fall: The corn maze and pumpkin patch at the Chatfeild Botanic Gardens (30 minutes south) Winter: The greenhouse is like a tropical getaway and the Japanese garden is so peaceful and beautiful in the winter. There is a fun and educational Children's garden and the Hive Cafe is great and serves food from their own garden! Look online to see what days are free!
