Loggerhead sea turtles are native to our Island. From May till September they lay their eggs in our beaches. Rescued sick or injured sea turtles are brought to the hospital to be rehabilitated by an all volunteer staff (of which I have spent years helping). Learn more about the life of sea turtles at the hospital.
