Breweries

This is Trae's favorite local craft brewery. They have excellent lagers, IPA's, and some easy drinking sours. Their patio is wonderful: Large, well shaded, and typically has a food truck.

No trip to Northern Colorado is complete without a stop in for an ice cold beer from New Belgium. Often you can find a musician or small festival of some sort going on in their large turf outdoor space on weekend. A great spot for a delicious craft beer.

A new favorite brewery of ours that is only ~8 mins from the house. They have a 'peculier' selection of beers with a wide variety of unique offerings. They also have a small kitchen attached with some tasty pub style dishes. They have a large space with a nice outdoor patio. This is definitely more of a hidden gem than some of the mainstream craft breweries I like in fort collins, and well worth a visit!

Food scene

This is a favorite of ours for Brunch, Happy Hour, and cocktails. They have a robust selection of craft cocktails and excellent mixologist. The food has always been very tasty, though it should be noted their menu is quite small. The prices are not cheap but also not too expensive. $15-25 per entrée and $9-15 craft cocktails. It has a pleasant setting underneath the historic windsor mill.

A higher end dining option (mostly Italian cuisine) with a intimate setting. Happy hour does provide some good bargains on wine and appetizers.

If you are looking for the nicest restaurant nearby, this is it! A fine dining experience yet still reasonably priced (under $50 for a steak) and does not require a coat.

The local dive! The oldest bar/food place in severance. World famous for their rocky mountain oysters (they are actually pretty good deep fried with mustard), worth a stop in to try with an ice cold beer. Only 2 mins from the house!
