Absolutely love De Nada Cantina! Super fun spot in a restored green house with authentic Mexican decor, beautiful candles and a great vibe. They have strong and tasty margaritas and my favorite taco's in town with blue corn tortillas from Oaxaca, Mexico. Highly recommend visiting this spot and it's open till late most days of the week.

We love Suerte when wanting a little more upscale, sexy and modern Mexican food experience. Their Suadero tacos and Don Julio are personal favorites. I recommend making a reservation ahead of time if you don't want to wait.

One of our all time favorite spots- Licha's has a charm all it's own. Located in an old house on E6th, Licha's will provide you authentic Mexican food (not tex mex), great margaritas and some of the best chips and salsa in town. They have lots of outdoor seating and a cozy, candlelit space inside. We love the bone marrow tuetano's and the cochinita pibil.

Stellar coffee and drinks as well as a few gluten free snacks. There's a nice outdoor patio, but this place is usually poppin' so don't be surprised if there's no seating at busy times.

After many relocations, Antone's has found a new home in downtown Austin. Up-and-coming blues star Gary Clark Jr. is part-owner of the club, which is continuing the late Clifford Antone's commitment to the blues. The ground floor has a simple layout with the band at the back and a long bar on one side.
