Joshua Tree National Park is absolutely amazing! There are lots of wonderful hikes to do inside the park and it's so fun climbing around on the rocks and marveling at the beautiful joshua trees and cacti. It's only about a 45 minute drive to get to Joshua Tree National Park.

Thousand Palms Oasis is a 10 minute drive from the resort heading toward Palm Desert and it is absolutely gorgeous! There are underground springs throughout the Coachella Valley and that is what created the conditions for the lush Thousand Palms Oasis! It's a must see. There are fun, short hiking trails that take you through the preserve.

The Salton Sea is an hour drive from the resort. You cannot swim in this strange body of water but it is a fun place to explore...it was once a popular vacation destination but now it's sort of a ghost town--funky and cool in it's own way! We recommend going to Bombay Beach!

There is so much amazing art to be seen at the Palm Springs Art Museum and it's something fun to do during the heat of the day when it's just too hot to be outside!
