Fires Creek is close by Hayesville, easy to find and plenty of trails to choose from. Loop around the waterfall for a bit more of a challenge, lope around the paved trails for easier fun. Play in the water, pics by the bridge! Take your kids, your suits and some inner-tubes for a great day

Sightseeing

Tail of the Dragon is a road (US 129) in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains that is a favorite of sports car and motorcycle enthusiasts. The road has an 11 mile stretch that has over 318 curves. This road is not for those that get motion sickness and I do not recommend driving it at night.
