Rino is a must for both newcomers and locals of Colorado. It’s full of art, good beer, and fun vibes. Some of our favorite spots are Our Mutual Friend, Stem Ciders, Improper City, and Finn’s Manor. Rino is perfect for either brunch, day drinking after a hike, or bar hopping until the night ends.

The lower highlands (LoHi) is a great choice for more trendy dining spots and bars. Home of Avanti F&B, Happy Camper, My Neighbor Felix, Linger, Recess, and, last but not least, Little Man Ice Cream. There are many spots to choose from while also being near to downtown.

Head over to West City Park area, specifically 17th Eve, to find a cluster of dining options and cocktails. We love Humboldt Kitchen + Bar for their delicious seafood and cocktail menu. When there is a wait, we often hop over to Dos Santos next door for a margarita and appetizer taco. Other favorites in this area --The District, Olive & Finch, Chada Thai, and The Thin Man.

Between City Park and Congress Park sits the infamous Colfax Street. Colfax is home to much food diversity, dive bars and a unique mix of the old with new establishments. Outside of Red Rocks, Colfax offers the best of Denver's music scene. You can find many of your favorite artists performing at The Bluebird Theatre, The Ogden, and the Fillmore Auditorium. Food favorites include Denver Biscuit Company, Voodoo Donuts, Tacos Tequila Whiskey, and Sassafras American Eatery.

While it doesn’t have quite the reputation of Snooze, Syrup has a very comparable menu. We often find ourselves here for last minute brunch plans when friends or family are in town. Syrup can generally accommodate larger groups of people with wait times under an hour on the weekends (nearly impossible to find!)

Long Table was the first local brewery we discovered on the east side of Colorado Blvd. It quickly became a favorite spot to grab a beer and check out the food truck of the night or stop by Sexy Pizza across the street. Since this brew house does not serve food, they have no qualms with you ordering in or bringing your own from somewhere else. Long Table is also great spot for larger groups and outdoor seating.

New brewery! We love this spot for being within walking distance to home. Ephemeral has a nice selection of rotating beers as well as a few non-beer options. My favorite is their canned margarita! Though there's no food on the menu, they have a snack wall with both sweet and salty options.

The Plimoth is great for a classy dinner out with European style cuisine. We did not personally enjoy the food, but loved the service, outdoor patio and cocktails. Also a plus, it's within a mile from home!
