Food scene

This is our local pub, and although we may be biased....it really is one to be proud of! It's won The Good Pub Guide Inn Of The Year 2020 and Pub of The Year 2018. A truly charming cotswolds pub, friendly atmosphere, welcoming staff, delicious locally sourced food, a great selection of all drinks and a roaring fire in the winter! Be sure to book to avoid disappointment though. We can highly recommend the sharing roast joints!

A visit to this organic farm makes for a lovely afternoon out. They have a butchers, a diary, a bakery, a mouth watering deli, and a winery. All of its' produce are sold in their beautifully laid out shop, which also has a homewear, children's toy, dog, and garden section. There are three places to dine depending on what you would like to eat (but its all delicious!) They also hold cooking, garden design and wreath making courses. (The latter christmas time only). During the festive season it really is a lovely place to visit to get you in the festive mood, lots of beautiful decorations, food, wine and gifts to browse! Highly recommend this! They also hold events through the year, so checking what’s on on their website is a good idea.

Lovely pub, with a good hearty, gastro pub menu and craft beers, set in a cosy, rustic-chic, scrubbed wooden table vibe! (there is a play ground across the road too, which was good for the kids to run off some energy whilst waiting for food!)

If you want a view.... this is the place to go! The views of the rolling hills of the cotswolds are just beautiful. I would consider this restaurant fine dining, so if your after a treat, or a celebration of a night, this would tick all the boxes!

This deli is MY FAV! There isn't anything on the deli counter that I wouldn't go back for seconds. Pop in for lunch, or if you are staying at ours and didn't fancy cooking, take your self down here and grab a few take away boxes and a few bottles of wine, come back to our cosy hide out and relax enjoy these culinary delights!

In the autumn this places just explodes with colour! There are some lovely walks throughout the arboretum, and there is a falconry centre just next to it if you wanted to extend your day out and learn about some really interesting birds of prey.
