Food Scene

Great pizza, including gluten-free options. Local and regional craft beers on tap. And one of the best patios on this side of town. Charming low-key place to grab a great bite.

I'm not sure how "authentic" the food here is, but the drinks are strong, the tacos are incredible, and the staff are fun. Walk over for tacos, then stop into El Guapo for a night cap on the way home.

One of the most perfectly typical, cute, fun coffeeshops. Straight out of a 90's teen drama movie. Good coffee, good munchies, and live music many nights. Heaters on the patio to boot!

Everything Else

Walk, bike, or run over to Washington Park for beautiful views of the mountains. it's approximately a 5k from my door, around the park, and back. Just watch out for the geese.

If you don't want to go six blocks for a great-big park, but still want to feel grass between your toes, head three blocks to Platt Park. It has a playground, a library, and lots of neighborhood pups.

Drinks & Nightlife

Hope you like dive/biker bars. This place looks like it's been around for 60 years, and in some form or another, it has. Features live music most nights, pool tables, and old school charm.

One of my favorite breweries in all of Denver happens to be just a few blocks away on S. Broadway. They've always got something interesting on tap, from light to dark.
