Not only was it great to spend hours with beautiful and very cared for cats but the food was delicious too - The brownie and carbonara are a must! It is a small cafe and it does get full quite quickly so you can feel obligated to leave the adorable cats sooner than anticipated.

Botan Japanese Restaurant It is a cheap Japanese restaurant close to MAYA. Somewhere in Niman Hemin from the south 2 furthermore turn left on the alley, it is somewhat difficult to understand. And bowl 60B, Tongtek is 80B etc. There are other sushi and noodles, and many kinds of knobs. And bowls and soup are not sweet. The menu was in Japanese with Romanized notation, with small photo.

The restaurant is located on the hills west of Chiang Mai. To get there, just turn left from the condo, follow the road through Suthep, and walk into the hills until the end. This is a place where open-air dining is beautifully situated in wonderful gardens overlooking the reservoir. After your meal, make sure you grab the chance to walk to the other side of the lake to enjoy some truly stunning views of the city. This restaurant takes dining room open to a whole new level. Calais primarily serves Thailand and northern Thailand. Their large menu offered only in Thailand. But like many other places to eat foods that are accompanied with pictures, so it is not difficult to buy.

The first is called a beung, a kind of pastry filled with slightly sweet, sticky marshmallow-like substance as well as your choice of shredded coconut or another vegetable, one of which tasted a little like pumpkin. The other is a dish of rice and preserved egg topped with fried basil leaves. The contrast between the gooey preserved egg and the light, crispy basil leaves provided a unique texture experience, and it was also yummy. Just the evening went to Sukontha Buffet, a gigantic all-you-can-eat restaurant, with long tables full of cooked Thai delicacies, as well as raw food which you can grill at your table.

Khao Tom Yong chiang mai. Whether you're hungry late at night or you just want to have something else that steamed rice, then having khao tom is one of the best ways to satisfy your appetite. Locals go to a khao tom restaurant because they fancy boiled rice or just because they like to have real Thai taste late at night. What is real Thai taste? Well, experts may argue about this, but if you ask me, Thai like it strong: spicy, a bit salty, strong flavors. In fact, most foreigners might not like this that much, because what most Thai people like is not really that delicate. Often, there is too much oil, too much salt, or too much sauce in the food, but that's a lot of locals like it.

Art in paradise is certainly worth two hours of your day to take some great photos of you and others. I would say you need at least one other person with you to take pictures. Three would be ideal because there are scenes where you have more then one person to fit in to. It’s a fun for little time and little money, and the results are photos and photos are memories. By the time you get around the two floors you are ready for leaving. There is a coffee shop there also where you can get refreshments. It is priced around 400baht.

Perhaps the most famous and important temple in Chiang Mai every visitor must pay a visit. On top of Doi Suthep Hill, at 3,520 feet above sea level, finds the revered golden Phra That (chedi) of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep rises against the sunlight. The temple was built in 1383 to enshrine Buddha’s relics. You can actually drive uphill to the higher platform but a lot of devout Buddhists choose to pilgrim by walking 290 steps up to the hilltop. After praying the Phra That for good lucks, don not forget to proceed to the terrace to soak up panoramic views of Chiang Mai town and surrounding countrysides.

Located near the historic Wat Jet Yod, this is the main museum of northern Thailand and is under the patronage of Their Royal Majesties, the King and Queen. It was renovated in 1996 to celebrate the 700th anniversary of the founding of Chiang Mai and now features a larger and better organized exhibition. The museum is housed in a large, two storey traditional Lanna style house, complete with the signature roof design, reminiscent of a bird's spreading wings. Visitors to the museum pass through six sections of exhibits, which constitute a journey from Chiang Mai's prehistory to its present and future course.

Baan Kang Wat – An Artists Village in Chiang Mai Northern Thailand has a unique sense of style and creativity. Chiang Mai in particular is known for its thriving arts and culture scene, both with traditional Thai handicrafts, such is wood carving, umbrella making and weaving , and contemporary arts and craftsmanship. All the creative businesses found at the village focus on local, handmade sustainable or organic products and give back to the community in some way. Along with several shops, galleries and studios, there are also a few cafes (mainly selling drinks and small snacks, though there is a place at the entrance serving khanom) and even a garden growing leafy greens.

Good experience here as a foreigner. Fast service, knowledgeable doctor with good English, and quite cheap. They have a streamlined process that involves registration where they copy your passport and put you in the system, understanding your ailment, forwarding you to the right place for treatment (e.g. wound care unit), then sending you back to the cashier for payment. They have English and Thai forms to fill out. Their understanding of the English language is okay. Between writing down the problem and saying the right keywords, you can get pretty far.

The prices are crazy cheap compared to the US and the workers have excellent English and are very proficient. The oral surgeon was so sweet, he knew how nervous I was and talked with me throughout the entire procedure, patted my shoulder and explained everything. What a relief, no more wisdom teeth in my mouth!!
