Sightseeing

This is technically an off leash dog park. The driveway is right off the bridge as you cross the river. The parking lot is small so expect to sit in line to wait for a spot, but it's worth it. Be courteous to the locals and don't cut in line. During the summer months the water is sometimes toxic to dogs, so check if there are signs posted or you don't see any other dogs say swimming, beware. Otherwise this is my favorite place in Austin. Walk all the way out to the end and pop a squat on the tree roots dangling on the edge of Lady Bird Lake.
