Bowen Island is a cute, easily accessibly island to the West. There are a couple of restaurants and a pub, lots of trails and hikes for all levels. Hop on the ferry in Horseshoe bay, 20 minute drive from the house to the Ferry and the Ferry ride is 20 minutes from the terminal to the Island. About $50 CAD round trip.
