The coffee is excellent and all the baked goodies are fantastic. These guys do a pretty mean avocado & cherry tomato bruschetta, among other things.

Clodeli has a great, relaxed vibe with plenty of natural light flowing in. The coffee is superb and so is the food. We would recommend giving the pancakes a try if that’s what you’re into. They also do a simple, yet mouth-watering bacon & egg roll.

It is widely considered as the best bread in Sydney and we'd have to agree! Iggy’s specialises in sourdough, whole-wheat and rye bread. These staples usually run off the shelves before 11am, so get in early. Check out their Instagram page here: https://www.instagram.com/iggysbakery/?hl=en

Drinks & Nightlife

The DOG is your craft beer heaven. You can enjoy a cold beverage in the courtyard on a balmy summer’s night. If you’re hungry, there’s a great gastropub-style menu or you can head upstairs to Duke’s Bistro and grab a seat on the outside balcony and watch the world go by.

"Bondi Beach's favourite watering hole doesn't go into hibernation for the winter." Great for lunch or evening drink &/or dinner - it's right on the beach. Note that it does get busy Friday and Saturday nights.

Coogee Pavilion, or as the locals call it, ‘The Pav’, is one of the most popular venues in the Eastern Suburbs. The ground floor is perfect for family get-togethers and casual dining. The menu is made for sharing; from lobster rolls, sashimi and freshly shucked oysters, to the wood-fired pizza and kids’ meals. Speaking of kids...the nostalgic games arena complete with giant magnetic scrabble, ping pong and an in-house theatrette, will keep the kids entertained for hours. Upstairs, Coogee Pavilion Rooftop is an adults-only destination. With four indoor and outdoor bars, a huge wrap-around balcony with the best sea views, and a mouth-watering Mediterranean menu, you’re guaranteed a good time.

Not many tourists, or even Sydneysiders for that matter, know about Wylie's Baths. Head to Wylie's Baths and after a refreshing swim, lay on a comfortable massage bed and enjoy the relaxing effect of trained, skilfull hands while listening to the soothing sounds of the ocean...

Coogee Beach appeals to both swimmers and surfers, and the ocean pools cut into the headlands are popular with families. There are laid-back pubs and bars on the beachfront, while the surrounding streets are filled with alfresco cafes. There are dramatic ocean views along the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk and nearby Gordon’s Bay has snorkelling trails and rich marine life to be explored.

Eugene Tan takes stunning photos of the ocean, the beach, surfers and more. Most are of Bondi, Bronte and the local area. If you make it to Bondi, his gallery is well worth a visit...you may even pick up a few pieces. Check out the Aquabumps gallery on Instragram here: https://www.instagram.com/aquabumps/?hl=en

Parks & Nature

This big park is made up of beautiful lawns scattered with ponds and trees. Keep your eyes peeled for horses during the day and thousands of flying foxes—giant bats—around sunset. There’s a flat 3.7-kilometre loop that goes around Grand Drive, but there are loads of cross routes which make for some lovely morning and evening walks.
