Traveler advice

Don't miss

The Scenic Beach Walkway

One street over, on 31st, on the south side (just past the Rec Center) is a kayak launch and the start of the Scenic Beach Walkway. Crossing two bridges over the canal and a path on an island, you will find yourself 3 blocks from the beach. No bikes allowed, this is a great way to take in the scenes. It takes about 12 minutes or so to walk to the beach. Highly recommend taking the time to make this a part of your vacation.
