Hard not to spot, our local castle! A forty minute walk from the croft house bothy. Gift shop and cafe too. Also a very good takeaway called Heilan Scran. After hours you can walk around the island on which the castle sits, for free. Love doing this!

This stunning herd of Highland ponies have been bread by the Campbell family for longer than I have known. Trek whilst taking in the beautiful scenery.

This fantastic ferry is world's last sea-going, manually-operated, turntable ferry in Scotland, running between Glenelg on the mainland and Kylerhea on the Isle of Skye. Check their website for seasonal running times. Enjoy lovely coffee & cake at the Way Out West Cafe whilst waiting for the ferry on the Glenelg side.

Lovely coral beach tucked away near Plockton, about a 10 minute walk from the road. Enjoy a home reared burger at nearby Off The Croft takeaway or fresh prawns and a pint down in the village.

Sea trips in Plockton that with a policy of 'no seals, no payment required'. Couple of nice pubs to enjoy some food and drinks in after.
