This is a great honky-tonk. You should try to find the time to grab a beer there. Burgers are excellent, and so is their sound system – they have live music Friday and Saturday nights. Mostly of the country/bluegrass/blues variety, but originals, not covers.

A great spot with great pizza. Loaded with creative toppings and local hipsters serving it up. There is a patio out back that is just lovely and they deliver.

They’re close to the north entrance of the Park, so you can kind of do a loop – lunch at Natural Sisters, hit the Park, drive the twenty mile loop, stopping at all the incredible sights, then exit the north gate and have cocktails at “The 29”. A great day!

This legendary roadhouse is legit. If you like barbecues this is the place for you. Giant steaks, racks of ribs, burgers, chops... Pool tables, indoor and outdoor seating, all of it around picnic tables. And while you’re there, catch some live music. Some nights it’s the local vibe, country and blues and bluegrass. Other nights, it’s hipster heaven with indie bands rolling in from LA or doing an unannounced show before they play Coachella. Check their website for the calendar. If you’re going for supper – RESERVATIONS ARE A MUST!!!!!

Open every Saturday 8AM - 1PM. This is a Certified Farmers Market, so there are strict rules - the merchants can only sell locally grown or created items. They have excellent produce for you to bring home to your epic chef's kitchen - or you can get some locally pickled garlic in a jar (we like the kind with peppers in it...)

Emergency

Our local hospital and emergency room. Keep in mind that it is private and they do not bill out to most insurances. If you can stand a slight wait, it may be worthwhile to head down to Palm Springs so that a broken bone doesn't break the bank. Great people though!
