Prospect Park is a real park, feels like a park. Fun fact: Central Park was designed after Prospect Park. The designer who did both, considered Prospect Park a master piece, unlike Central Park. If you run or bike, one loop around park is about 3 miles/5K

The last independent run skate shop in NYC. It has two indoor mini-ramps open to the public, and also does ski/snowboard tunes & repairs. A gallery space is connected to the skate shop. Its one of those spaces/shops that is like the old NYC. The owner, a born & bred New Yorker is very knowledgeable in the skate/snow/trips beat.

Go here, dont ask questions just go! It's home to Sleep No More. The summer is a huge rooftop and in the winter it becomes a closed in winter lodge. Great fun, good drinks and food, but most of all is all the entertainment and shows.
