Nice walk from house along the toll road to postage. 50 minutes each way. go through village down hill past railway arches. past tennis courts over nridge. take right at bend onto toll road after the river. then all the way to Egton bridge right at the Egton estate house.
great food good for lunches, need to book for evening.

great Walk to this pub fir lunch (not open Tuesdays) along the rail trail, good stop and you can carry onto Goathland. take the left at Railway and follow the old Rail Trail. up hill past church, through gates to field through gate past railway and on from there. 1 & 15 mins to Beck hole. and another hour to goathland. Can get stream teain back if like me prefer a modest walk.
