Underrated breakfast spot! Usually pretty quiet for breakfast and a good place to work in the morning, with really good food and coffee. Very busy at lunch, and they have some delicious paninis, salads and soups for lunch.

Awesome, little-known Thai/asian place! The food is fantastic and the owners are super friendly. It's in a weird location, but trust me, it's worth a visit.

A cool local distillery with good drinks and live music. They don't make their own food but they'll often have a food truck parked out front, and they're right next door to Palisade Brewing which serves pretty good food.

A beautiful natural area that you have to visit while you're here—on par with many of our National Parks! You can either pay the entrance fee and drive the Rimrock loop to get a view of the whole park, or for the best free hike in town go to the Monument Canyon Trailhead and hike through the middle of the monument (no fee if you enter from this direction).
