My children call this driftwood beach because there are massive amounts of driftwood on the beach. Fun for kids or adults to build forts out of the driftwood. There are usually forts that have already been built at any given time, unless they have been built too close to the ocean and been washed away at high tide. American camp is just before South Beach and the site the American Soldiers chose during the Pig War.
