Caleta de Fuste is a fun & family friendly place, also perfect for couples of all age groups! There's lots to do & see here depending on what you like to do. For those who like to go for those long walks you have the coastal walk all the way from Caleta you may head north back along the coast to Costa Antigua, taking in the modern harbour area on your way, also along this walk towards Costa Antigua you may discover our natural water pools that are spectacular! If you head south along the coast from Caleta it'll take you along past the Elba Hotels Resorts and here you'll find the beaches of La Guirra, 3 main cove formed beaches, here you can walk out to one of the little island restaurants La Isla for a few drinks & a spot of lunch. Continuing from here along the coast you'll come to the local fishing village of Las Salinas where you'll find a small church Las Salinas del Carmen which is just precious & you'll find the delicious family run restaurant of Los Caracolitos. There's also the salt museum here in the village too, worth a visit. For those of you who like water sports head along to the harbour area, take a day out on the spectacular catamaran, lunch on board whilst they sail you along the coast to the local fishing village of Pozo Negro. Also at the harbour area there's the gigantic fun slides perfect for kids & big kids too!! Rent out a jet ski or try out some paddle boarding. You'll also find the excellent dive school Deep Blue, probably the best dive school on the island, they offer lots of different courses for all age groups, you can even try out being a mermaid for a day! Those of you who enjoy a round of golf we host 2 courses right on your doorstep! The Fuerteventura Golf Club & the Las Salinas Golf Club, they're actually next door to each other, my favourite is the Fuerteventura Golf Club, they hosted the Spanish Open here back in 2004. Caleta you'll find easy to wander around, everything is found in areas of small centres such as the El Castillo Shopping Center, here you'll find Pierros Music Cafe Bar, Blues Bar, 60's Bar, varies gift shops, jewellers, Hiper dino supermarket , along the coastal front you'll find the Atlantico Shopping Center here you'll find excellent sports shops, high end clothing shops, and various other clothing stores, Spar Supermarket, there's the Castillo Center where it's mainly bars & restaurants, try chilling our on the terrace of Little Havana Bar, lunch @O'Fado's Portuguese family run restaurant, try the special house Cod dishes! If you have a snack attack then the Kebab shop is the perfect place. Happy Center again bars, cafe bars & international restaurants, Puerto del Sol square again with local cafe bars, snack bars & restaurants, Amuley Mar center (opposite the Hotel San Jorge) again great for cafe bars & tapas such as the Cafe del Town where Gabrielle makes fresh hot & cold tapas! Also a must visit on your stay in Caleta is the Chocolate Shop!!Handmade chocolates & cakes, they have a small terrace area outside to just sit back & relax with a coffee & cake! Just opposite the Castillo center in the main street of Calle Juan Ramon Soto Morales you'll find our local Irish Bar The Step Inn, here you can watch all your sports, bet on a horse, and enjoy their delicious pub grub! The food is excellent & always fresh with different specials throughout the week, they serve all types of breakfast during the week, even Keto Breakfasts. Next door to them is the Pizza place, also delicious, then next to them the famous Fado Rock Restaurant, another family run restaurant, their specialities are the fresh meats cooked on a stone in front of you! Don't miss out! Discover the Dunes!

A must day out! Head to the North of our beautiful island and stop off in the Natural Dunes of Corralejo. The landscape in spectacular! With the back drop of volcanoes & you can see the Island of Los Lobos & just behind the Island of Lanzarote. If you stop off at the first beach on the right hand side as you drive through the dunes, this is known to the locals as "drop beach" just be careful in this area for the strong undercurrents. It's a hot spot for boogie boarders & surfers. Drive further along the dunes and you'll spot the 2 hotels, here you can park much nearer to the beach area & spend the day here. Every year the International Kite festival is held on the Sand Dunes of Corralejo .
