Sightseeing
The Colorado Lagoon is right out your back door, down the alley. There’s a lovely bridge and path around the lagoon. Marine stadium is across the park from the lagoon. You can walk along the water all the way to 2nd Street in Belmont Shore with tons of shopping & dining. Then back home from there. It’s about 2.5 miles roundtrip.

Catalina is almost a must-do, I would argue. The boat is fast and right out of Long Beach. Descanso Beach is fab and just walking around Avalon is lovely. It might be chilly tho. It’s a long day-trip or you can spend more time and explore the island and its bison, boating, etc. There’s lodging.

95 BerthCatalina is almost a must-do, I would argue. The boat is fast and right out of Long Beach. Descanso Beach is fab and just walking around Avalon is lovely. It might be chilly tho. It’s a long day-trip or you can spend more time and explore the island and its bison, boating, etc. There’s lodging.
