Traveler advice

Don't miss

The Saturday farmer’s market is a must see!

Parking may be hard to find, give yourself time to find a spot.
Getting around

The 2 best spots for groceries

Thrifty Foods is in downtown Ganges but there is also a Country Grocer store in “upper Ganges” and you may have more luck with parking.
Getting around

Fulford Village

If you need to grab a few essentials, Fulford Village (the ferry terminal) has a few shops and a restaurant and is only 3 minutes away by car.
Don't miss

Beautiful beaches

There are many beautiful beaches to check out. Vesuvius beach is the best for sunset picnic dinners or a mid-summer dip and Beddis Beach is a white shell beauty and good for paddle boarding.
Don't miss

Lake swims

Stowel lake is the closest swimming hole (on Beaver-point rd) but you can also enjoy Cushion lake (on Cushion lake rd) and St Mary lake (the largest lake) has a busy little public beach access on North End rd.
