Parking is limited, so go earlier in the day if possible! Lots of trails for walking, fantastic views, learn about quarries, a great time in nature. ** 2021 update: Parking lot CLOSED due to construction

Just a 5 minute walk away! Front Beach is my neighborhood beach. It's not huge but it's a great place to enjoy the sand and take a dip (waves are never large here). You may even find sea glass as you walk along the beach! There are public bathrooms there, but pick up your food/drinks on your way there since there aren't many options AT the beach. Just be sure to guard your snacks from the pesky seagulls!

Front Beach
Just a 5 minute walk away! Front Beach is my neighborhood beach. It's not huge but it's a great place to enjoy the sand and take a dip (waves are never large here). You're going to have so much fun exploring Bearskin Neck! Filled with converted fishing shacks and buildings full of New England charm, there are many unique shops to visit. Your reward at the end (top) of Bearskin Neck is the view as you are surrounded on three sides by water! Up for a short adventure? Walk out to the end of the jetty, which is the row of granite blocks stretching out into the ocean, built to protect our harbor.

Take an ocean drive around East Gloucester! Head towards Good Harbor Beach and follow Atlantic Road around Bass Rocks area and past Niles Beach. You'll drive through Rocky Neck and along East Main Street until you complete the loop on Bass Ave.

Just a short walk away, Millbrook Meadow is a glorious small park across from Front Beach. Expanses of grass for throwing a frisbee or lounging on, a small playground, a bubbling brook leading to the ocean, and a lovely pond to sit by to watch the wildlife.
