Punta Gorda is only a few miles away and one of my favorite towns. It has a beautiful town where you can walk around, do some shopping, get ice cream, or stop at any of the parks around. It's truly a gem of a place.

This is the such abeutiful place to have a nice day trip. The beaches are usually not as packed as others, there's golf carts you can rent to drive around the island, local food and parks. Its a one stop shop for a memorable day
