This place is Southern Thai inspired so it's a lot of good, fried goodness. The fried chicken with sticky rice is awesome!

A fantastic, close spot for delicious BBQ. Make sure you try the brisket and ribs, if they aren't sold out! I'd recommend calling to verify what they still have before you go because they are only open until they sell out of BBQ for the day.

A Portland staple. If you head down to the Saturday market, you've got to stop by and grab a donut! Beware the line; if you see it short, I'd recommend stopping then!

Another great street/neighborhood filled with great, local spots. A great place to spend a Saturday afternoon/evening. Great night life as well. I'd recommend verifying business hours prior to heading over there due to the impacts COVID-19.

Coffee Shops

One of the best dirty chai lattes I've had in Portland. If you head west over the big blue snake (Willamette River), you should definitely grab one!

Nature

A great little park with several small, wood-chip trails through and around. If the weather is nice, there's a great grass field to throw down a blanket and enjoy the sunshine! Only 5/6 blocks, east of our place on Killingsworth.
