This deserves all of its accolades. Beautiful interior, great food, and impeccable service. Locals tip: Wed-Friday they offer a fixed price lunch menu for $25.00 and 25 cent martinis! To blend, dress up (no shorts!!) as New Orleanians do when they go. It is the place locals go for celebrations and special occasions. Reservations a must. They will also give you a tour of the kitchen if you ask.

Recently named in Bon Appetit's list of 8 favorite gumbos. Their gumbo is delicious and served with grilled cheese (to dip, of course) and potato salad, which I put in the gumbo - I'm not the only one. Take out only but they do have picnic tables outside.
