Our closest city and perfect for a day of shopping and great restaurants. It is just under an hour by car, I tend to park at Chantry Place. The Cathedral is wonderful and well worth a look round. You could also visit the castle, the nearby Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts is excellent.
