Great access to good mountain walks. Check the walking maps and set off with water and supplies in case you get lost. Not sure there is cellphone coverage as you walk high.

Great beach for beginners surfers. Check the tides as on a hot day with high tide there isn’t much beach. Watch bags on this beach,don’t leave them and go for a swim ask someone to watch bags for you. Can be very crowded. Nice restaurant for food

Book before you go
Restaurant in high season
Pre book the table mountain cable car or go really early on a perfect day. If the mountain is clear change your plans and go as the next few days might not be
What to pack
Always bring a jersey or rain coat you never know
Weather on either sides of the mountain can be different so be prepared
Customs and culture
Tipping
Tip of car guards is common. Anything from R2-R10. At night in town watch where you park.
