Local beauty spot. Go onto the main road, turn left towards Castle Douglas and drive for about a mile. There’s a sign for Loch Doon and turn right. Drive along there for a few miles and you’ll go over a few bridges. Castle Doon is worth a visit and lots of lovely walks around there. The Roundhouse is a little cafe en route and the chap running it (Brian) is very friendly.
