If you want hot, delicious sour dough bread, you can get it here. Its only a couple of miles from the house. Near the train station in Grover Beach, south side of the street. This Artisan Bread store has all types of specialty breads, and treats for your picnic basket to take to the beach. They have French toast bread, Basque Cheese cake. Too much to mention. The Sour dough baguettes are steaming hot out of the oven. You must get there in the morning. They sell to all the restaurants and caterers. Also a good bet is Biscuits and Gravy. I see lots of people in line in the morning to get these.

This is the best sandwich place on the Central Coast. When you are near San Luis Obispo, this is worth a visit. They are very generous with their meats and cheeses. Its in a quaint neighborhood near down town. We have had the Mother Natures Veggie, the Italian Sub and the Calif Turkey. All excellent. Check out their menu. It's popular, a local favorite, you might want to call in your order.

Lots of seafood restaurants and shopping. Kayaking and surfing. Don't miss the Secret of Morrow Bay - The Rock Graveyard. When you take the trail around the south side of Morro Rock to view the jetty, keep walking around the rock. You will come across this Rock Graveyard, Rock Garden?
